The Mission

The Mission

In support of my own spiritual growth and the growth of the Church of Jesus Christ, provide an online tool to

I. Help Christians PRAY

  • More systematically for things that are important, but not necessarily urgent (each other, our leaders, revival, etc.)
  • More biblically by using Scripture as our guide
  • More specifically by collating members’ detailed requests into a comprehensive prayer list
  • More joyfully by tracking and publishing answers to my prayers and those of others

II. Help Christians GROW by Better Planning and Organizing

  • Bible reading schedules
  • Bible memory plans

III. Help churches to CULTIVATE BODY LIFE by communicating

  • Events and announcements for the whole church, small groups, programs, etc.
  • Member needs (material needs, prayer requests)
  • Ministry opportunities
  • Administrivia such as nursery and food schedules

Help Christian Missionaries and Parachurch Organizations COMMUNICATE

  • More quickly, easily, and more frequently with supporters
  • Receive the benefit of more consistent and specific prayer

  1. Looks like a great project! Keep up the good work.

  2. David,

I’m still not a firefox user. I like the tab feature on ie and couldn’t get firefox to work the same way, so I never made the switch. Is there a bible verse tool for ie similar to the one you use for fire fox? I currently use http://www.Biblegateway.com which is very fast, but it is still a 4 or 5 step process, the add-in you mentioned sounds much quicker.

I know you are still coding furiously, so take your time getting back to me, but I’d be interested in learning how to use the site for reading and memory plans as well as prayer…

    Blessings!

    • Thanks for the feedback, Mike. I don’t know of a Bible tool for IE, but I like bible.logos.com for a quick lookup site.

As for memory and reading plans, they are definitely on the ROA roadmap!
